We're keeping this simple while Toque and Table gets started. Here's what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. For customers, that's your name, email, and zip code, plus anything you choose to tell us about your household, like how many people you cook for, dietary needs, foods you love, and what your week looks like. For chefs, it's your contact details and what you share in your chef application.
How we use it
To get in touch with you, understand what you're looking for, and, for customers, find a chef who's a good fit. That's it.
Who sees it
Our small founding team. When we match a customer with a chef, we share the details that matter for that match, like household size, dietary needs, and general area, and we check with you before we do. If you've told us about a food allergy, the chef you're matched with will see it, because they need it to cook safely for you. We also use a few trusted tools to run this site and store form submissions. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
What we never do
We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it at any time. Email us and we'll take care of it.
When this changes
As we grow and start taking bookings, this page will get more detailed. We'll update the date at the top whenever it changes, and if a change affects how we use information you've already shared, we'll email you first.
